Russia’s Transneft announces 1.2 bln rbl tender under Yug project
MOSCOW, Dec 8 (PRIME) -- Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft has announced a 1.2 billion ruble closed tender for reconstruction of the main oil pipeline Tikhoretsk–Novorossiisk–1 for diesel fuel pumping under the Yug project’s first stage, as seen by PRIME in the company’s materials Tuesday.
Bids will be collected until December 29, results will be summarized on February 11, 2016. Works must be done from February 18, 2016 through August 25, 2017.
The Yug project’s first stage includes an upgrade of the Tikhoretsk–Novorossiisk oil pipeline for pumping of up to 6 million tonnes of diesel fuel, construction of 586 kilometers of the Volgograd-Tikhoretsk-Novorossiisk pipeline and a plug-in of oil major Lukoil’s oil refinery in the city of Volgograd to the pipe in 2017.
The construction of the main oil product pipeline Volgograd-Tikhoretsk is the second stage of the Yug project, which will ensure domestic supplies of diesel fuel and exports to Europe through the port of Novorossiisk. Overall, the project encompasses construction of 1,350 kilometers of pipelines and 14 pumping stations, with a projected capacity of 11 million tonnes per year by 2020.
